Ralph Ruben, son of the late Parkison and Mollie Irons Keffer, was born in the Green Valley Community, Woods County Oklahoma on October 7,1902 and departed this life at the Waynoka Nursing Home,Waynoka, Oklahoma Tuesday, October 9,1990 at the age of 88 years and 2 days. On October 5,1929 Ralph was united to Urcie Harmon at Waynoka. They made their home in Waynoka where he operated a service station and later served as custodian at the Waynoka Schools. Urcie preceded him in death April 22,1975. On January 17,1976 he was united in marriage to Mabel Brinson Zook at Alva,Ok. They continued to make their home in Waynoka until his passing. Ralph was a member of the Waynoka Saddle Club and a former member of the Waynoka Lions Club. Besides his parents and Urcie, he was preceded in death by one daughter Dorothy Mach, three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife Mabel of the home, two sons, Earl Keffer of Ponca City and Charles R. Keffer of French Settlement, Louisana, four daughters, Sois Shelton of Dallas, TX., Betty Kinder and Evelyn Keffer of Oklahoma City, Ok. and his step-daughter Wanda Stover of Alva, Ok. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
