We have removed our family copy of this obituary to honor an email complaint. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Walter signed a World War One draft registration card in Dallas September 12, 1918, giving his date of birth as October 22, 1872. Description: Age 45. Medium height, medium build, gray eyes, dark color hair. He and Mattie were living at 3406 Edgewood in Dallas. Walter was working as a carpenter for a local lumber company.
