Bio

Linda is the oldest daughter of Floyd and Fern (Waddington) James. Her family lived in Antelope County until 1952 when they moved to Nance County. She graduated from high school in St. Edward and was named the alternate winner of a Regents Scholarship. She married Vernon Shotkoski on Nov. 5, 1961, in St. Edward. They were over-the-road truck drivers for many years. Then she was a waitress at Al's Café in Fremont for 20 years. She was a trophy winning bowler. Survivors include: her husband; two daughters, Stephany (Ed) Condon and April (Kristine) Elkins, all of Fremont; a sister, Bonnie (LeRoy) Niemann of Walker, Mo.; two granddaughters and a great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Elinor
