Frances, 93, passed away on February 12, 2012 in Irving, Texas. She was born on August 08, 1918 in Ennis, Texas to Louis & Mary (Valek) Zabojnik. Frances had been a forty year resident of Irving where she was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a longtime volunteer of the Baylor Irving Hospital Auxiliary and Union of Czech Catholic Women of Texas and Dallas KJZT Society #108. She and her husband were the owners of B&T Grinding & Supply Company for over 25 years in Dallas. Frances loved gardening, volunteering and bargain shopping. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Jimmy Thompson of Irving; four sisters Mary Barta of Dallas, Texas, Emily Barto of Dallas, Texas, Ella Babek of Arlington, Texas, Polly Drozd of Lake Dallas, Texas and; one brother, Frank Zabojnik of Ennis, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday evening from 5:00PM-7:00PM with Rosary Services at 6:30PM, Restland Coppell Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 10:30AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2330 Cheyenne, Irving, TX. 75062. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas, TX. Published in Dallas Morning News on February 15, 2012
