Victoria Advocate, February 11, 2012 Mable Baker Rossville, Kansas, Mable Garrett Baker, 76, of Rossville, Kansas, formely of Victoria, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. She was born Victoria County on April 1, 1935 to the late Hillary and Nora Garrett. Mable is survived by her daughter, Janet Tucker and her husband Herb of Victoria, sons, Randy Baker and wife Beth and Jeffery Baker , both of Kansas: 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Dickie Baker, sister, Martha Barnett: brothers, Fred and Narvel Garrett; and 2 grandchildren, James and Jeremy Baker. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 12, 2012 from 5 - 6 pm at Grace Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, February 13, 2012, at Grace Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob McGlaun officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery. Pallbearers are Herb Tucker Jr., Ben Kopecky, Elmer Baker Jr., Kenneth Baker, Larry Baker, and Mark Baker.
