Bio
On 6 July 1908, Dr. William Logan, 41 years old married Cliffie Eddleman, 31 years old at Jacksboro, Texas. The couple moved to Lubbock, Texas in 1927 from Graham, Texas. They were preceded in death by their only child. Services for Dr. W.H. Logan, 88, 2704 32nd Street, a Lubbock physician for many years will be held in the Rix Funeral Home Chaple. Dr. J. Chess Lovern, pastor of the First Methodist Church will officiate. Dr. Logan had been a member of the Methodist Church. Dr. Logan came to Lubbock in 1920 from Graham. His office was located in the Lubbock National Bank building. His wife preceded him in death. Survived by one brother - John Logan; several nieces and nephews. Dr. Logan joined the Methodist church in 1889 during a camp meeting in Jack County held by Rev. J.A. Eddleman. Dr. William H. Logan came to Graham in January 1900 from Finis, Jack County, Texas where he had a successful practice with his brother, Dr. Malvern Hill Logan The two brothers purchased Dr. Gallaher's practice. Dr. Malvern Logan moved back to Finis in the fall of 1900 to continue his practice there. Physician - Doctor of Medicine funeral home record and tombstone shows birth location.
