Obit - "Mr. Logan of Erath County, died at the residence of his son, Dr. M.H. Logan at Finis, Jack County, Texas last Monday." John Caloun Logan is the son of James Jefferson Logan and Mary Withrow Logan. He married Nancy Emmaline King 1851. He spent 5 years in the gold fields of California and was a faithful soldier of the lost cause. James and Nancy are the parents of Rev. James Richard "Dick" Logan, Mary Ann Virginia "Jennie" Logan, Myra J. Logan, Adell Mae Logan, Dr. Malvin Hill Logan, William H. Logan and Mark H. Logan.
