Funeral Services For Frank Streitmatter Are Held Monday Funeral services for Frank Streitmatter, a well known and highly respected stock and grain farmer of the Valley township, were held this afternoon in the Wyoming Congregational church at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Robert Manschott of Stark Congregational church officiating. Masonic rites were conducted in the church. Bearers were Paul Bayer of Geneseo, Fred Reikert of Edelstein, Steve Streitmatter of Sparland, Fed Streitmatter of Wyoming, Richard Streitmatter of Rensselaer, Ind., and Fred Schwab of Peoria. Interment was in the Streitmatter cemetery in Peoria county. Mr. Streitmatter passed away in the Methodist hospital in Peoria at 7:45 a.m. Sunday after having been a patient for two days. He had been in ill health for about a week. A son of Fred and Mary Zehr Streitmatter, he was born in Princeville October 13,1892. He was united in marriage to Lena Bayer in Peoria November 26,1919. He is survived by his wife; three sons. Kenneth of Midlothian, Ill., and Frank and Larry of Wyoming; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Marilyn) Duncan of Aledo; two grandchildren, Susan Streitmatter and Bobby Duncan; three brothers, Richard of Rensselaer, Ind., Fred of Wyoming, and Steve of Sparland; and four sisters, Mrs. Otto Von Seegar of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Adolph Belcner of Peoria, Mrs. Clyde Wood of Rensselaer, and Mrs. Frank Fritz of Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Pierce and Clark; and two sisters, Maude and Mabel. Mr. Streitmatter was a member of the Stark Congregational church and also a deacon of that church. He was a member of Lodge 479 AF&AM, the Peoria Consistory, Mohammed Shrine, the Wyoming Lions club. He was a member of the Stark County Farm Bureau and had been a member of the board of education of the Wyoming Community high school and of the board of directors of the Baughn school. He is a World War I veteran.
