sec ii row 1 CLARKSON-Services for Mary L. Walla, 74, who died at Omaha, were held at the Clarkson Catholic Church with Rev. C. C. Kubesh officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Harry and Richard Fielding, Joe and Lawrence Maliha and Leonard and Anton Kucera. Mrs. Walla was born December 6, 1889, in Colfax County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Maliha and was educated in rural county schools. She was a member of the Clarkson Catholic Church and the Guild and Altar Society. She married Joseph Walla in 1907, and lived her entire life in Clarkson. Mr. Walla died February 9, 1931. Her health began to fail last spring when she went to live with children in Omaha. Survivors include two daughters, Verna Fielding of Omaha and Mrs. Marh Duff of Hingham, MA.; two sons, James of Omaha and Joe of Council Bluffs, IA; 10 grandchildren; six sisters, Josie Vrba of Clarkson, Julia Fendrick of Schuyler, Anna Fendrick, of Dodge, Emma Cushatt of Denver, CO., Antonia Zrust of Fremont, and Agnes Jedlicka of Schuyler, and a brother, Joe Mahilha of Leigh. per tuck
