Bio

Mrs. Lynda Kingston passed Away Sept. 26 Lynda Olivia Kaliff Kingston was born to August and Ida Louise Kaliff at McCool Junction, Nebraska, on July 11, 1885. She succumbed at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Loup City, Nebraska, the evening of Sept. 26th at the age of 71 years, 3 months, and 15 days. Mrs. Kingston joined the Lutheran Church and later in 1923 joined the First Methodist Church in which she was an active member. She was married to William D. Kingston, June 20, 1911, in Polk, Nebraska. To this union were born three sons: Frank of El Paso, Texas, Delivan of Arcadia and Orin of Westerville, who survive her. She is also survived by Rudolph Kaliff and Frank Kaliff, both of York; Charles Kaliff of McCool Junction; Sigred White of Lincoln; Augusta Sing of York; Slice Stowe of Seattle, Washington; Ellen Coffey of Elma, Washington, and two grandchildren, Linda and Duane. She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant child, one brother, Otto Kaliff, and one sister, Florence Karre. For many years she was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Mrs. Kingston will be missed by her relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held for Mrs. Lynda Kingston, Sunday afternoon, September 30th, at the Methodist Church, Rev. W. O. Crosby officiating. Concluding services were in Evergreen Cemetery at Loup City, Nebraska, Hastings-Pearson Mortuary of Ord were in charge of arrangements.
