Bio

Funeral services for James M. Wisby, 77, of Clute, Texas will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, april 8, 2006 in the Walnut Hill Pentecostal Church with Revs. David Hale and Danny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery, under the direction of the Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. Mr. Wisby died Monday, April 3, at his residence in Clute. He was preceded in death by his parents, William David and Ida Johnson Wisby; brother, Hubert Wisby, who was killed in action during World War II and his sister, Faye Aline Wisby. He is survived by two sons, Jeff Duhon of Lake Jackson, Texas and Joel Duhon of Austin, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Stone of Walnut Hill; Mrs. Modena Nolde of Leesville and Mrs. Helen Stone of Beaumont, Texas and three grandchildren. Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. ==== The Obit has a error in that Pauline's last name was Smith not Stone.
