She was an Anahuac resident most of her life and was a member of the Oak Island Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Betty Benson of Beach City and Shirley Franklin of Oak Island; son, Roger Plummer of Oak Island; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Services held at 10am, Wednesday June 21, 2000 at the Sterling Funeral Home Chapel, Anahuac, Texas. The Rev. Bob Morgan officiating. Interment was at Jackson Cemetery, Double Bayou, Texas. Pallbearers were Joe Nelson, Robert Plummer, Edward Lee Nelson, A.J. Standley, Michael Standley and David Gau
