Hillsboro Reporter Thursday, February 19, 2004 MICHAEL NORS Mr. Michael (Mike) Nors, 39, of West died Sunday, February 15, 2004, at a Dallas hospital. He was born November 9, 1964 in Hillsboro. He attended school in Abbott, where he graduated from high school in 1983, and also attended Hill College of Hillsboro. He had been a senior operator for M & M/Mars Company of Waco for eight years. Prior to that he worked for Bailey Implement Company of Hillsboro and was a self-employed mechanic. He was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church of Tours and KJT Society of Abbott. He married Kelly Luco March 5, 2002, in Red River, New Mexico. Survivors include: his wife; two daughters, Tiffany Nors and Sierra Nors, both of West; parents, Robert and Marie Neckar Nors of Abbott; grandmother, Clara Nors of West; one sister, Carolyn Waters of West; five brothers, James Nors, David Nors and Kevin Nors, all of Abbott, Richard Nors of Dallas and Matthew Nors of Carrollton; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Rosary was recited at 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2004, at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2004, at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Tours with Rev. Isidore Rozycki and Rev. Steven Nesrsta as celebrants. Burial was at Fatima Cemetery near Abbott. Memorials may be made to a scholarship fund for his daughters.
