Aileen Wynkoop November 23, 1927 – January 22, 2012 Aileen Wynkoop, age 84, of Fruita, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012, at the Grand View Care Lodge in Grand Junction. Aileen is survived by her husband, Paul Wynkoop, of Fruita; sons: Burkie (Kathy) Wynkoop, of Battlement Mesa, and Garry (Sheryl_ Wynkoop, of Craig; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held at Fruita Assembly of God Church at 10:30 a.m., with burial to follow at New Elmwood Cemetery, Wednesday, January 25th. Her viewing will be at the Fruita Funeral Home, Tuesday, January 24th 4 - 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado, Fruita Assembly of God Church, or Grand View Care Lodge of Grand Junction.
