Kale Funeral Home 301 S. Main St. Osceola, Iowa 50213 Terry Anthony Grimm son of Albert and Carmel Harger, was born July 4, 1941 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and passed from this life Friday, January 27, 2012 at 70 years of age. Terry received his education in Clarke Community Schools graduating in 1959. He was united in marriage to Susan Lee Patrick on August 11, 1978 at Des Moines, Iowa. Through the years, Terry was employed at the Harger family feed store as well as Trailways Bus Line and Hy Vee. Later in life, Terry moved to Des Moines was employed as a city bus driver by the Metro Transit Authority and retired in 2002 after nearly 28 years of service. Terry enjoyed traveling, bluegrass festivals and reading. He also enjoyed the fourth of July celebrations, so much so that as a boy he thought that they were his special birthday party! However, most of all Terry loved his family and truly enjoyed family gathering with his children and grandchildren. Those relatives who preceded Terry in death were his parents; daughter, Denise Michelle Newton and granddaughters, Angela Handrock and Jill Newton and his mother in law, Erma Patrick. Terry leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Sue Grimm of Des Moines; children, Kristy (Rick) Penick of Ellston; Tina (Ronny) Barton of Norwalk; Brett (Marcia) Grimm of Osceola; Scott (Ronda) Grimm of Norwalk; Kirk (Heather) Grimm of Osceola; eighteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by his father in law, Joe Patrick of Des Moines as well as other relatives and many friends.
