Died while captured. Originally disposed 5 Nov 1950 in South Korea. Processed November 1979. Elda is memorialized on one of the 10 Walls of the Missing. Korean War Casualties, 1950-1957 database states his rank as Private First Class, his Service Occupation as Food Service Apprentice, and his Casualty Type Hostile-Died while captured/interred and Casualty Type Captured-Died nonbattle. There was no information as to casualty cause.
