Bio

Earl D. Allen, former operator of Allen Cleaners died at his home on Rt. 7, southeast of Lubbock. Mr. Allen moved to Lubbock in 1928 from Electra. He had operated Allen Cleaners until his retirement in 1940 when he sold the business to his partner, Buford Allen, his son. Surviving are his wife; one son - Buford Allen; one daughter - Lenelle Marshall; one brother - E.B. Allen; four grandchildren. Lubbock Morning Avalanche February 13, 1950
