Bio
Mrs John Ziska, 63, died at her home 11 miles southwest of Atkinson, May 30,1933. Burial will be St Joseph Cem. Mary Regal, daughter of Martin and Victoria Regal, was born Feb 14,1870 Moravia, Czech. She came to America with her parents in 1878 and they settled on a farm near Schuyler, Nebr, where they lived for 3 years. In 1881 they moved to Holt Co , the parents taking a homestead 6 miles west of Atkinson. On Nov 26,1888 she married John Ziska. They established their home on a homestead 7 miles south and 4miles west of Atkinson. Surviving are husband, John, 3 children Freddie, Ella (Mrs Joseph Dobrovolny) and James of Atkinson, 10 grandchildren, 3 sisters Mrs Joseph Ziska of Stuart, Mrs Stanley Johnston of Stuart, Mrs Agnes Walenta of Ponca, Alberta, Canada, 2 brothers James Regal of Emmet and John Regal of Atkinson.
