James Clarence Hudec son of Willie F. and Albina Hudec. _____________________ James Hudec,5,Succumbs To Leukemia A nine-month battle against the blood disease leukemia ended last Friday for little James Clarence Hudec,son of Mr. and Mrs.W.F. (Bill) Hudec.He died at home at 4 p.m. James would have been 6 years old on the 12 of next month.His illness was diagnosed as leukemia last May. Funeral services were held Sunday morning,Feb.22,at Hubbard Funeral Home and St. Michael's Catholic Church,with Rt.Rev.Msgr.A.F. Drozd officiating,assisted by Rev.Thomas Flanagan. Serving as pallbearers were Thomas Hudec,Jerry Hudec Jr.,Vincent Gray,Jonathan Kubesch,Franklin Valla and Allen Wayne Janecka. (condensed) Weimar Mercury,February 27,1959,page 1
