Gabriella Shumbera daughter of John and Frances Shumbera. ______________________________ Shumbera Services Held Aug.2 Gabriella Shumbera,84,of Weimar,died July 31 at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Victoria. She was born on Dec.15,1911 to John and Frances (Macha) Shumbera in Fayette County. She attended Weimar High School and Southwest Texas State Teachers College in San Marcos,where she received a bachelor of science degree. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the St. Ann's Society. She lived here most of her life as a teacher.She taught at Bois D'Arc School,Rock Island,Beeville ISD and at St. Michael Catholic School here in Weimar. Funeral services were held Aug.2 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Weimar,with Father Bily and Reverend John Peters officiating. Pallbearers were David Shumbera,Mark Shumbera,Dr.Clarence Shumbera,Scott Lane,Michael Sharp and Thomas E. Flaherty. Acoyltes were Clayton Janecka and Jack Janecka.
