Bio

William Kenneth Jones William K. (Will) Jones, 82, 1240 Spruce St., was found dead Saturday morning beside his car parked along Partrick Road. Coroner Elliott Ladnier said an autopsy showed he died of a heart attack immediately after getting out of his car. He had driven to the scene to feed some donkeys on the Partrick Ranch, Ladnier reported. A native of Nebraska,: he came to California as a young child. He resided in Santa Rosa and later in Cloverdale, attend-ing schools in both communities. Later he came to Napa and worked in a glove factory and then as a carpenter, moving to Oakland until 1950. He had been retired for a number of years. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Hagemann of Fairfield; a step-son, Francis Smith of Cordelia; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Moyer of Napa and Mrs. Clara MacNabb of Santa Barbara; two grandchildren and several nephews. Funeral services wil be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the chapel of Richard Pierce Funeral Service with the Rev. Cornelius O'Kay officiating. Burial will be at Redwood Cemetery, Napa. - Napa Register (January 23, 1967)
