Tyler Morning Telegraph, 5 Aug 1999 Murlin Jordan Services for Murlin Hall Jordan, 75, Trinidad, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, Trinidad, with the Rev. Tommy Williams officiating. Burial with Masonic graveside rites will be in Trinidad City Cemetery under direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Mabank. Mr. Jordan died Aug. 3 in Kerens. He was born Nov. 8, 1923, in Kaufman County to the late Bookie and Minnie Hall Jordan. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 4133, Masonic Lodge of Malakoff, former member Malakoff Chamber of Commerce, a member of fire department and Lions Club. He was preceded in death by son, Billy Jordan in 1967; three brothers; and one sister. Survivors include his wife, Maudie Jordan, Trinidad; sons, D. Jordan and S. Jordan; daughter, Elaine Jordan, Arlington; stepdaughter, S. Trammell; brother, Kenneth Jordan, Mabank; sister, Doris Kennemore, Rockwall; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
