Leon Scarbrough, age 77, of Hillsboro, Missouri, passed away on December 31, 2011,in Crystal City, Missouri. He was born February 27, 1934, in Monette, Arkansas. Leon was retired from McDonnell Douglas and was a member of First Baptist Church De Soto, in De Soto, Missouri. He is survived by: Wife-Muriel Scarbrough, of Hillsboro, Missouri; Daughter-Sharon A. (Michael) Sparks, of Canyon Lake, Texas; Son-Stephen D. (Gina) Lambert, of Phillipsburg, Missouri; Daughter-Patricia L. Mertell, of Grubville Missouri; Daughter-Debra R. (Frank) Ornburn, of Carrollton, Texas; Daughter-S. Kathleen O'Briant, of St Ann, Missouri; Son- Dr. David L. (Jennifer) Scarbrough, of Fairfax. Missouri; Son-Retired Master Sgt. Phillip G. (Sandra) Scarbrough, of Bellevue, Nebraska; Brother-James E. Scarbrough, of Wolf City, Texas; Sister-Ruby O. Primm, of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Brother-Dr. Aubrey Scarbrough, of Tucson, Arizona. Funeral-Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at 10 am at First Baptist Church, De Soto, 2000 Grace Way, De Soto, Missouri. Interment-Peaceful Meadows Cemetery, Hillsboro, Missouri.
