From Lehi Free Press, (American Fork, UT) - Wednesday, March 3, 1999: Valdis Fowler Farnsworth MIllet died February 25, 1999 in Florence, Oregon. She was born October 1, 1911 in Lehi to Daryl and Kate Fowler. She was the oldest of 10 children. She married Carl Farnsworth July 15, 1931. After Carl died in a plane crash, she married Harold (Hap) Millet August 5, 1948. She is survived by five children: Edwin Farnsworth, Seattle, Washington; Carol Ann Swendener, Florence, Oregon; Carl Wendell Farnsworth, Santa Ana, California; Ronald Kent Farnsworth, Sacramento, California; and Jerry Millet, Summer, Washington. Valdis has 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is survived by four brothers and three sisters: Iris Harrison, Jetta Allred Lamb, Bruce Fowler, Edmund Dale Fowler, Shirley Bell, Kent Fowler, and DeVere Fowler. She was preceded in death by her parents, one child, and two brothers, Don and Arlin Fowler.
