Bio
Ray Leroy Morfeld, 65, died Saturday in Barnsdall. Ray Leroy Morfeld was born on December 6, 1946 at Marysville, California the son of Raymond Leroy and Gertrude (Blaire) Morfeld, Sr. He was raised in Georgia and served in the US Navy during Viet Nam. He married Wanda Smith on October 1, 2010. He had been a truck driver and a corrections officer in both Georgia and Oklahoma. He attended the Barnsdall First Baptist Church. Ray is survived by his wife Wanda of the home, one son, one step-son, four step-daughters, his mother, two brothers, and one sister. Memorial graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 20, 2012 in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Chaplin Forrest Kirk officiating.
