Graveside service for Billy Frank Harris of Point, was held Friday, December 2, 2011 under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home of Emory. Interment was at Hooker Cemetery. Mr. Harris died Thursday, December 1, 2011 in Mineola, at Community Care Nursing Home. Mr. Harris was born on July 23, 1928 in Commerce to Alford Wallace and Lurley Meador Harris. He was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers, Statuel, Doc, D.T., Sonny, Wallace, and James Harris and 4 sisters, Grace Medlin, Ruth Harris, Louise Hooker and Judy Herriage. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
