Bio

Joseph R. Conn, 70 of Confluence, R. D. 1, died Friday in his home. He was born Oct, 22, 1891, in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, a son of the late Silas and Sara Bowers Conn. Surviving are nine children, Mrs. Mildred Johnson of Dunbar, Mrs. Jeneva Beadling of Canonsburg, Miss Carolyn Conn of Berlin, Joseph A., Rojean, Eileen and Ronnie at home and Clinton and Joseph P. with the U. S. Army; and eight grandchildren. His wife, Mrs. Edna Augustine Conn, precede him in death. The body is at the Humbert funeral home at Confluence, where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. Interment will be in Jersey Cemetery, near Confluence. The Rev. Jacob Duty will officiate.
