Bio

Mrs. Sarah Conn Confluence, Oct. 13th. word was received here Wednesday of the death of Mrs. Sarah Conn, 87 years old, of Lower Turkeyfoot township, near Draketown. She was the widow of Silas Conn and was regarded by residents as "one of the grand old ladies" of the community. She had been in poor health for about two years. Mrs. Conn is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert Johnson and Mrs. Jacob Nicholson and two sons, Charles and Joseph Conn, all of Draketown. She was preceded in death by two sons, two daughters and her husband. The funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at the Jersey Baptist Church. October 13, 1938 Obituary
