Funeral Service for Jimmy L. Horrocks 66, of Quitman will be May 16, 2009 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes, Quitman at 10:30 a.m. Mr. Horrocks died 5-13-09 at Quitman. He was born 1-30-1943 in Cash, TX. He lived in Quitman for the past 7 years coming from Arlington. He was a member of Church of Latter Day Saints, Quitman. He was a Mason and member of the Flora Lodge, Quitman. He was a retired motorcycle officer for the Grand Prairie Police Dept. Preceded in death by father, B.H. Horrocks. Survived by stepmother, Jettie Vay Horrocks, Farmers Branch; wife Bea Horrocks, Quitman; sons, Doyle Horrocks & Daryl Horrocks, Little Elm; daughter, Kim Long & son-in-law Kenny, Grand Prairie; brothers Billy Jack Horrocks, Needville & Roger Horrocks, Farmers Branch.; grandsons, Kenny & Jack Long, Grand Prairie; Brendan Torres, Arlington; numerous nieces & nephews and many friends. Visitation will be Friday, from 6-8 p.m. Donations may be made to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum, 13515 Yarmouth Dr., Pickerington, OH and RCG Mineola Dialysis Center, 102 Maxine St., Mineola, TX 75773.
