TECH SGT. US ARMY - WWII GLEN E. SHAW Funeral services for Glen E. Shaw, 54, of Lovington were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the McMullin Funeral Home in Lovington. Burial was in the Keller Cemetery near Lovington. Mr. Shaw died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, June 20 at the Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born in Moultrie County Sept 19 1921, a son of Murray and Bessie Elzy Shaw and Married Evelyn Standley, Oct 6, 1942 in St. Louis. Mr. Shaw was employed by the Natural Gas Pipeline Co. and was a member of the Lovington American Legion. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife; one son, one daughter; his mother Mrs. Bessie Shaw of Sullivan and sisters, Mrs. Don (Colleen) Harchous, Mrs. Robert (Jan) Lemler and Mrs. D. L. (Wilma) DeVore all of Sullivan and two grandchildren.
