Mrs. Lola Faye Truly , age 86, of Kerrville, Texas, died on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, at a Kerrville nursing center. Mrs. Truly , a resident of Kerrville since 1978 and a prior resident of Victoria, was born on Feb. 25, 1919, in Hubbard, Texas, to Joseph J. Bruton and Josephine Morgan Bruton. She married Clyde Lanham Truly in May of 1936, in Hillsboro, Texas. He preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 2000. Mrs. Truly was a housewife and was a member of the Eastern Star in Lubbock, Texas. She was a loving wife and mother and will be long remembered for her feisty nature. Lola loved to read. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Truly Eaton and husband John of Kerrville and Candace Truly of Boerne; her son, John Truly of Boerne; her sister, Ida Fox of Washington state; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandchild and one great grandchild. Lola will be missed by her loving pet Peanut. The family would like to thank the staff at Hilltop Village, Vista Care Hospice, especially Steve McKee, Robert Willard and Beth Williams for her gift of love. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005, at 10 a.m., Hilltop Village Chapel, with Chaplain Jack Cook officiating. Interment will be at Garden of Memories. Memorial remembrances may be made to the Vista Care Hospice, 1001 Water, Suite B-100, Kerrville, Texas 78028. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
