COLORADO CITY RECORD SUNDAY, MAY 17, 1981 William Heston Redwine, 64, of Mitchell County, died Thursday at his home. Funeral services were Saturday at 10 a.m., in the First Baptist Church of Colorado City with Reverend Glenn Roenfeldt, pastor, officiating. He was assisted by Reverend Bob Grayson, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. Burial was in the Colorado Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home. Born January 31, 1917 in Sidney, Texas, he married Geneva Oliver December 22, 1939 in Big Spring. He resided in Mitchell County most of his life. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a farmer. He is survived by his wife Geneva; a daughter Sharon Hammond; two sons, David Heston Redwine of Andrews and Don Redwine of Colorado City; three sisters, Genita Henderson of Big Spring and Wilma McGregor and Laverne Carey, both of Brownwood; a brother, Eddie Howard Redwine of Brownwood and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Aubrey Self, Perry Mitchell, L. S. Girvin, Jr., Clinton Oliver, Casey Oliver and Wayne Oliver.
