Bio
Dena Domingue passed away December 29, 2011 at home surrounded by her family in Montgomery, Texas. She was well known in Alice, Texas through her restaurant, Dena's Restaurant which she opened in 1959. She loved working in the restaurant business and looked forward to seeing her customers and working with her loyal employees who worked with her for many years. Dena was born in Rangerville, Texas, September 29, 1916 to William and Minnie Wheaton. She moved to Alice, Texas in 1944. In 2005, she moved to her daughter's home in Montgomery, Texas. Dena was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Domingue and son, Jerry Collinsworth. She is survived by her daughter, Roberta Meadows of Montgomery, Texas; granddaughter, Traci Meadows of Montgomery, Texas; grandson, Scott Meadows and great grandson, Tanner Meadows of The Woodlands, Texas; three sisters, Johnnie Stapleton of Harlingen, Texas, Maggie McClanahan of Harlingen, Texas and Roxie George of San Benito, Texas. Visitation will be held at Holmgreen Mortuary from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, January 1, 2012. Services at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2 p.m., Monday, January 2, 2012 and burial will be held at Forest Park Cemetery in The Woodlands, Texas at 2 p.m., January 3, 2012
