Catherine V (Mulgrue) Courtney was born in Bloomington, Ill. Her father Patrick and mother Ann Margaret Earl were from Ireland and arrived in the US on the 15 June 1846. Her first marriage was to William Anderson Turnipseed. Her second marriage was to William S Courtney.
