Although her husband Stephen is listed on the cemetery records as being buried here, Jane is not so I am not positive that this is the proper cemetery for her.
Jane Hazeltine [Hazelton] was born 7 March 1773 in Townshend Township, Windham County, Vermont the daughter of Peter (1744-1823) and Mary [Sadler] Hazeltine (1745-1826). At the age of 25 she married Stephen B. Phillips in 1798. They were the parents of John W. Phillips (1799–1880), Wesley Phillips (1800– ), Jeremiah B. Phillips (1805–1855), Elizabeth Phillips (1806 – 1850), Stephen B. Phillips (1810–1898), Zion Phillips (1815–1850) and Oliver Perry Phillips (1818–1866). Jane passed away at the age of 65 years in 1838 in Greenville, South Carolina.
