Bio

Sarah placed great importance upon her family members. She loved to regale her grandchildren with stories when they would stay overnight. It is remembered how she would tell of when she was a little girl in Iowa listening to the corn grow at night. Sarah never had indoor plumbing until she relocated in the last few years of her life. She hauled and heated the water she needed while cooking on a woodstove. Sarah had 2 sisters and a brother who also died in Whitman County, Washington.
