Wallace Vinsant born 8-7-1866 in Fayetteville, AR, died 9-14-1953 in Waco, McLennan, TX (FAG# 59678227). Charles Allen Vinsant born 5-28-1869 in AR, died 3-19-1939 in Fort Worth, Tarrant CO, TX (FAG# 59678136). Benjamin P. Vinsant born 10-23-1878 in Arkansas, died 1-14-1956 in Kansas City, Jackson, MO. Ora Vincent Clark born 5-1879 in AR, died 8-11-1921 in Dallas, Dallas, TX (FAG# 59681091). Maud (Mana) Vinsant born 9-1882 in TX. Here is the story: In KY Emily Jane Hunt (born 1-29-1840) marries Fielding Dillon and has multiple children. In 1872 Fielding Dillon dies. Emily marries James Frank Aistrop (born in KY) and they move to Ennis, Ellis, TX (they have 3 children together - M. Belle Aistrop born 1874 (is not on the 1880 Census Believe died young), Robert E. Aistrop born 1876, Walter Bascom Aistrop born 1882) but Emily dies in 1-30-1890 (this was found on Ancestry.com). Meanwhile, Margaret (Maggie) Vinsant is born in AR (there are several Vinsants there) and marries ?? Reed and moved to Dallas, TX. In the Dallas, TX Directory for the year 1893 shows Maggie E. Aistrop who is a dressmaker who is married to James Frank Aistrop, he is an engineer (on the Railroad). In the 1894 directory she is a widow. They live at 149 S. Ervay. James Frank Aistrop shows up in the 1891 Dallas TX Directory but Maggie is not listed. In 1893 James Frank Aistrop is tried for murder in the 2nd Degree and sentenced to 15 years in prison. He received a Pardon after 10 years. On one of the prison documents I've uploaded he says his married. On 1900 Census Maggie is a widow and both her parents were born in AR. She is listed as a dressmaker. Her daughter Myrtle is listed as an Asst. Dressmaker. I believe her husband went to jail that's why it states widowed and why he's gone in the 1894 directory. Ok, so you can see from the 1900 Census for the Rusk Wate Penitentiary that Frank J. Aistrop was a railroad engineer. He was born in 9-1836 in Kentucky and both of his parents are from Virginia. I believe that only one of Maggie Aistrop's children (Lenna) that is James Frank's. I believe the rest just took his name just as on the 1880 census Emily's children from Fielding took the last name Aistrop. Maggie's son Frank Aistrop on the 1910 Census is using the name Frank Reed and does so from then on. In 1905, there is a Frank Aistrop, emp Steel Wks listed in the Pueblo, Colorado Directory. This is where his son Robert E. Aistrop resides. I believe the reason there is so much confusion is the children were young when he went to prison. Maggie Vinsant Reed Aistrop's Children: Myrtle Aistrop born 7-1879 in TX. Frank Aistrop born 8-1883 in TX. Jesse Aistrop born 4-1891 in TX. Lennie M. Aistrop born 1-1893 in TX. Maggie married again her last name when she died was Bollinger. The informant on her death certificate is Frank Reed and the signature is the same as Frank's WWI Draft Card (see his Find a Grave) and I believe by looking at her father's obit that she was married before that to an Anderson. Myrtle B. Aistrop Lynn (on her brothers WWI draft card it states his contact person is his sister M. B. Lynn. Living at 320 E. 5th St, Pueblo, CO). First husband was Henry C. Reed born 1853 in GA. They were living in Alvarado, Johnson, TX on the 1880 Census with Mertie/Myrtle. Added 9/18/2017: Maggie's husband when she died was James Jacob Bolliger born 1860 in Switzerland. I believe he was married to Verena Lehner but divorceD her to marry Maggie. I believe this because on the 1920 census (Jacob died in 1933) V Bolliger is widowed without a husband and living with her children in Fort Worth, TX. Added 11/28/2017: Daughter Juanita Bolliger born 1915 TX, died 1999 in Houston, TX.
