Bio

John Thomas Nichols was born on November 2, 1884 to parents Thomas Harvey Nichols and Marhta Ann Sexton Nichols. John Thomas married Mary Annie Sanders and had one daughter and five sons. Nellie Mae Nichols Wilson, John Thomas Nichols (Johnnie), Willie Lee Nichols (Bill), Marvin Nichols (Humpy), Loyed Nichols and Joe Earl Nichols. Annie died in 1928 and John Thomas married Elsie Wilson. He and Elsie had one son, three daughters and three stillborn infants which are buried at Western Hills Cemetery. A.J. Nichols, Louella Estelle Nichols Horton, Anna Fae Nichols Keenum and Wanda Lou Nichols York. John Thomas died on December 10, 1948 during a fire that was in his home in Dallas. He is laid to rest in the family plot at Western Heights Cemetery in Dallas.
