Doris E. Bezdek (1935 - 2011) Doris E. Bezdek, 76, passed away on Friday, Dec. 16,2011. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel, 500 Sublett Road, Kennedale. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Doris was born in Shallowater on April 1, 1935, to Ray and Inez Joplin. She married Joe Bezdek on June 27, 1952. They started their family in Lubbock and moved to Arlington. Doris enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking and gardening. She will truly be missed by her family. Comfort is found knowing she is in the Father's loving care. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, and mother, Inez. Survivors: Daughters, Sharon Biggs and husband, Wayne, Diane Rankin and husband, Don; son, Larry Bezdek and wife, Jill; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Ray Joplin and wife, Ruth; and numerous other family members.
