WILMA SOCHA EL CAMPO - Wilma Socha, age 86 of El Campo died on November 16, 2006 at her home. She was born on June 9, 1920 in Nada to the late Method Hoffman, Sr. and Mary Stavinoha Hoffman. She was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America and the KJZT Society. She is survived by her son Lawrence Socha and wife Lillian of El Campo; grandsons Kenneth Socha of El Campo, Marc Socha and wife Kelly of El Campo; great grandchildren Sommer and Garret Pool of El Campo; sisters Edith Popp of Hillje, Lucille Gary and husband Paul of Port Lavaca; brothers Frank Hoffman and wife Dorothy of Nada; and Method Hoffman and wife Mary of Nada; and son-in-law Michael Krauskopf of Victoria. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rudy, daughter Patricia Krauskopf, sister Justine Carville and brothers Leo and Walter Hoffman. Visitation will begin at 11 AM on Friday. A Wake Service will be held at 7 PM on Friday at Triska Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Janak officiating. Interment will be at the St. Mary's Cemetery in Nada. Pallbearers are Kenneth Socha, Marc Socha, Garret Pool, Mike Carville, Jerry Socha and Albert Socha. Memorials in memory of Wilma Socha may be made to St. Philip School Endowment Fund. The family would like to give a special thanks to her loving caregiver Irene Deckert.
