Evelyn Krpec, 87, of El Campo, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, in El Campo. She was born Dec. 12, 1918, in El Campo, to the late Joe and Hermina Shumbera Skutca. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors: daughters, Jeanette Hunter and Kathy Bodungen, both of El Campo; sons, Frank Krpec Jr. of Caraunchua and Herman Krpec of El Campo; eight grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Frank Krpec Sr.; and brother, Walter Skutca. Visitation will be 11 a.m. today and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Memorial service at 6:45 p.m. today at Triska Funeral Home, El Campo, 979-543-3681. A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church with Rev. Bob Fisher officiating.
