Bio

Alma Lucretia Turnage 91,of Texarkana, Texas died Monday December 8,2003 at her home. Mrs. Turnage was born June 1,1912 in Cookville, Texas. She was pastor of New Nash First Assembly Church. She was preceaded in death by her husband, Alfred E. Turnage, in 1983. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Bill Turnage and Al and Shirley Turnage of Texarkana; one daughter and son-in-law, Blanche and Buddy Starnes of Texarkana; one sister, Zona Tune of Texarkana; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Texarkana Funeral Home Fuqua-Everett Memorial Chapel with the Revs. Boyce Green and B.J. Smith officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Texarkana Daily Gazette, December 12,2003.
