Alice Marie Mitchell, born September 29, 1941 in Lusk, Wyoming to Han W. and Avis G. Shimek Larsen, passed away December 6, 2011 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 70 years. Alice is survived by her former husband of 40 years, James Mitchell; daughter Rose English; son, Stephen Mitchell; father, Han W. Larsen; three grandchildren, Robert Bowman, William Bowman and Angela Verville; eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Avis G. Larsen; daughter, Shirley Larsen. A visitation will be held from 5pm till 8pm Friday, December 9, 2011 at Pace Funeral Home. A Celebration of Alice's Life will begin at 2:30 pm Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Pace Funeral Home with Pastor Orval Barger officiating.
