Friday, December 9, 2011 at the House of Prayer Freewill Baptist Church of Gore under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee w/ Garner Garrison officiating. Pallbearers were: Patrick Richerson, Adam Richerson, Randy Donelson, Jr.,Jim Anthony, and Drew Richerson. Honorary pallbearers are Skip Donelson, and Larry Don Donelson. Burial will be in the Hughart Cemetery. Watie Donelson was born April, 30, 1926 in Yellow Hammer Oklahome the son of of Homer and Lillie (Gilstrap) Donelson of Okay, Ok. and died December, 6, 2011 in Braggs, Oklahoma. He was a lifelong area resident. He married Nellie Wildcat September 10, 1949 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one grandson, and one granddaughter. Survivors include his wife, Nellie, of the home; daughters: Billie Anthony, and husband, Jim of Gore. OK., Frances Donelson of Okay, OK; Peggy Donelson, of Tahlequah, Ok., Linda Donelson of Tahlequah, Ok., Betty Donelson of Gore, OK., Mary Richerson and late husband, Dale of Gore, OK., Connie Donelson , of Tahlequah, Ok., Son Randy Donelson, and wife, Janet of Gore, Ok., brother, Johnny D. and wife, Janet, of Stigler, Ok. sister, Colene London of Okay, Ok., granddaughter, Tressie Riley of Tequcigalpa, Honduras, Central America; grandsons, Adam Richerson, Patrick Richerson, Drew Donelson, Randy Donelson, Jr. six Greatgrandchildren, and nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
