Muskogee Phoenix, 18 July 1991, page B6 Mrs. Lillie M. Turnbull, 86 of Porum died Monday in a Muskogee Hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services for Mrs. Turnbull will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the graveside in Vaught Cemetery with the Rev. Herbert Chisum, Assembly of God minister officiating. Mrs. Turnbull's Grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers. Mrs. Turnbull was born March 19, 1905 in Braggs, the daughter of John F. and Angeline (Applegate) Gillstrap. She was married to Ben Turnbull who preceded her in death in 1966. Mrs. Turnbull was a homemaker a member of the Assembly of God Church, and a lifelong Muskogee area resident. Surviving are three sons, Claudie Donelson, of Porum; Wadie Donelson, of Braggs; John Donelson, of Luther; one daughter, Colleen London, of Okay; one brother, Clyde B. Gillstrap, of Porum; three sisters, Ester Cobb, of Muskogee, Perlettie Parson, of Muskogee, Bobbie Guerra, of Lemtar, N. M.; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren. The family is being served by the Lescher Funeral Directors.
