Bio

Son of John Lee White Sr and Minta Sererra Clementine [Earnest] White Barnick, of Bowie County TX. David first married Angie P Hooker, on Nov 4, 1908, in Bowie Co TX, after Angie's death, he married Myrtie Watson. Angie is buried at Red Lick Cemetery (Row E-11) here in Bowie Co, and David and Myrtie are buried at Eylau Christian Cemetery, also in Bowie Co TX. Angie had 3 children from a Hooker marriage that were living in David's household; Ottis C, Myra L, and Clara R Hooker. David's 2nd wife, Myrtle, had one known child with David; Arthur Lovella "Lou" White born Nov 5, 1932. Also, living in their 1940 household, was one children from Myrtle's prior marriage to B E Goodwin; Harry Goodwin born 1925. David was the grandson of William M and Sarah [Reams] White. His grand father arrived in Bowie County TX with his father Elias White in 1846, settling first in Redwater Texas.
