Bio

John Lee White was the son of William M & Sarah Louisa [Reams-Rames-Rehms] White. He married Minta Sererra Clementine Earnest, about 1879, in bowie County, some have listed the marriage date of Dec 22 1880 or 1881, however, the 1st child was born Feb 1880. Her parents are Elisha (Elijah) & Levisor [Caldwell] Earnest. After John passed away, Minta married a James Albert "Jas" Bonner, about 1886, in Bowie Co TX. They had five known children. John and Minta had the following children: Callie Adaline, David Arthur, John Lee Jr White. Minta and 2nd husband James A Bonner, had the following 5 known children: James Robert "Jim", Frances Ellen, Joseph Elisha, Oliver Pinkney, Mamie C "Maurie" Bonner.
