Bio

Frank J. Bacak of Cape Carancahua passed away on September 8, 2011at the age of 68. He was born on June 11, 1943 in El Campo to the late Emil E. and Bessie Bartosh Bacak. He was employed by Coca Cola for 37 years as a Special Events Coordinator before retiring. He is survived by his daughters Kay Pilat and husband David of Cypress, Kristie Choate and husband James of Cypress, son Frank Bacak, Jr. and wife Michelle of Spring, grandchildren Justin Pilat, Austin Choate, Taylor Faith Choate, Kalob Bacak and Karey Bacak, brother Allen Bacak and wife Josephine of El Campo, and sister-in-law Ardis Bacak of El Campo. He was preceded in death by his brother James Bacak and sister Georgie Trochta. Visitation will begin at 3 pm on Sunday with a KC and Parish Wake Service to be held at 5 pm at Triska Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Monday, September 12, 2011, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Janak officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Doug Trochta, Alan Paul Trochta, James Choate, David Pilat, Ervin Fucik and Bradley Bacak. Honorary bearers are Jerry Winters and Bob Kallus Triska Funeral Home
