Bio

Henry Clinton Terry, of Celeste, was killed at Durant, Indian Territory (Oklahoma), on Tuesday morning by a full-blood Indian. Terry was in a barber shop, seated in the chair, and the Indian mistook him for another man. Terry's remains were brought back to Celeste and interred at Hogeye, near that place. (July 25, 1895, The Greenville Messenger Henry Clinton was the husband of Lora A. Slack & the father of eight children.
