Hillsboro Reporter Thursday, November 6, 2003 ROBERT TAYLOR Mr. Robert W. Taylor, 62, of Waco died Sunday, November 2, 2003 at a Temple hospital. He was born February 18, 1941 in West, son of Frederick Grover and Hessie Curtis Taylor, where he attended schools. He was in the Air Force for 11 years, during which he served in Vietnam. He returned to Central Texas and spent many years as a long-haul truck driver and worked for Blue Chip Ice Company of Whitney. He was a member of First Baptist Church of West. Survivors include: four sons, Bobby Taylor, Paul Taylor, Steven Taylor and Cameron Taylor; two brothers, Curtis Taylor and Sandy Taylor; two sisters, Lois Hornak and Patsy Valone; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, at Bold Springs Cemetery near West with Dr. John Crowder officiating. Military honors were conducted by VFW Post #4819. Memorials may be made to the building fund of First Baptist Church of West.
